Dr. Myles Coolican FRACS

Chairman & President

Dr Myles Coolican specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee. He has particular interests in total knee replacement and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. He performs these surgeries at Royal North Shore, North Shore Private and the Mater Misericordiae Hospitals in Sydney.

Associate Professor. David Parker FRACS

Vice President

Dr David Parker specialises in surgery of the knee joint, with particular interests in arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction and knee replacement. He performs these surgeries at Royal North Shore, North Shore Private and the Mater Misericordiae Hospitals in Sydney.

Scott Furby FCA

Treasurer

Mr. Scott Furby is a seasoned finance executive with a 30-year career at PwC, culminating in a partnership role. He has extensive experience in operational and financial management across various industries, including high-profile projects in Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Since retiring in 2009, he has contributed to the community through board roles at SUFC Foundation and SORI, as well as advisory positions at Sydney University. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Sydney University Medical School.

Mrs Lisa Woolf-Jones

Board Member

With over two decades of expertise in Sales and Media, Lisa transitioned into the realm of Not-For-Profit Organizations (NFP) in 2014.


Lisa has spend ten years working with the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) and Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) on their Senior leadership team and has recently commenced a new role within Kids with Cancer Foundation (KWCF).


As the Chief Xperience Officer, Lisa is leading the development and execution of revenue generation strategies while ensuring an unparalleled stakeholder experience. 

​Emeritus Professor. Tony Parker

Board Member

Professor Parker is a leading expert in sports medicine and exercise science. He serves on SORI's board and is actively involved in research and teaching at QUT. With a 30-year career dedicated to advancing the field, he has held numerous leadership roles and led extensive research projects across sports medicine, occupational health, and industry. His work has significantly impacted industry and government policies, focusing on injury prevention and health enhancement. Currently, he heads QUT's Workforce Health Innovation research group, addressing critical health issues in the mining industry.

Dr. Brett Fritsch

Board Member

Dr Brett Fritsch specialises exclusively in Knee surgery. He has particular interest in robotic knee replacement, ACL and other ligament reconstruction, patella instability, and limb realignment (osteotomy). He performs these surgeries at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Mater Misericordiae Hospitals in Sydney.

Dr. Jobe Shatrov

Board Member

Dr Jobe Shatrov is a highly skilled and experienced orthopaedic knee surgeon. He is a cutting-edge researcher, innovator, and teacher, and is at the forefront of robotic knee surgery, ACL and sports knee surgery. He performs these surgeries at, Hornsby Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Lakeview Private Hospital & Mater Misericordiae Hospitals in Sydney

Dr. Alex Nicholls

Board Member

Dr Alex Nicholls is a dedicated specialist knee surgeon, treating all adult and paediatric knee conditions. He has particular interests in sports knee injuries, arthroscopic ligament reconstructions (ACL reconstruction), and management of arthritis in younger more active patients via joint preservation osteotomy surgery. He also performs partial and total knee replacement surgery utilising robotic and computer-assisted navigation techniques.
